Since founding her own immigration law firm in New York City in early 2009, Candice L. Ackermann, Esq. has represented dozens of individuals and multinational corporate clients in connection with a wide array of U.S. immigration law matters, including preparation and filing of non-immigrant visa petitions, family and employment-based green card applications, self-sponsoring individuals of extraordinary ability, and applications for naturalization.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Ackermann worked for over five years as an Associate practicing exclusively in the area of immigration law for some of the nation’s premier immigration law firms; representing some of the world’s largest health care facilities, financial institutions, religious organizations, professional corporations, and entertainment companies.

Ms. Ackermann has also represented numerous foreign nationals of extraordinary ability, successfully attaining approvals of visas for nationally or internationally acclaimed artists; including actors, fashion designers, musicians, singers, lighting designers, marketing professionals, writers, and journalists. Ms. Ackermann has also garnered acclaim for successful representation of an Olympic medal winning athlete, a leading Broadway actress/dancer, and numerous prominent hi-tech start-up CEOs, programmers, and international business executives.

A graduate of Harvard University and Boston University School of Law, Ms. Ackermann is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the American Bar Association (ABA). She is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and can represent clients living in any of the United States and in any foreign country.
